Trust depends on clear responsibilities

We are developing Vardent with a commitment to accurate communication, responsible information use and accountable service design. Customers and partners should be able to distinguish an idea, an enquiry, an agreement and an authorised service.

Our present status

Vardent is an NCDF Group enterprise finance initiative. The proposed banking institution is in development. This website does not provide banking, deposit-taking, payment-account, lending, insurance or investment services.

Future regulated services will require the relevant permissions and will identify the responsible provider, terms and customer-support arrangements before activation. A corporate registration, domain name or expression of interest does not establish a banking licence.

Responsibilities guiding our development

Regulatory clarity

Establish the appropriate permissions for the actual service being proposed.

Provider identity

Make clear which legal entity is responsible for a product or customer relationship.

Customer understanding

Explain conditions, costs and obligations in usable language.

Information responsibility

Collect information for a defined purpose and establish suitable handling controls.

Representative accountability

Distinguish an interested candidate from an appointed and authorised representative.

Accurate reporting

Separate plans and targets from achieved milestones and operating results.

Corporate transition and business separation

Vardent is the new brand being adopted for Konto Financial Group Plc. An application has been filed to change the registered company name to Vardent Financial Group Plc. The change will be reflected in our legal disclosures when it takes effect.

Konto Fintech is under the ownership and management of EmergX Capital UK. It is separate from the proposed NCDF banking initiative. Previous registrations, contracts or customer records should not be assumed to transfer automatically between businesses.

If you have a question about an earlier Konto registration, contact us so the relevant record and responsible entity can be identified.

Questions and concerns

Use the contact form for questions about your enquiry, information rights or the conduct of someone claiming to represent Vardent. If a future service is supplied by a licensed partner, its documentation will identify that provider’s complaints route.
