Our Focus | Enterprise and Productive Asset Finance

Finance should support the work businesses do

We are developing Vardent around the financial needs of productive enterprises. Our proposed approach brings together business understanding, responsible financing and accessible service, supported by suitable technology and institutional partnerships.

The areas below describe our development priorities. They are not products currently available for application.

Six areas shaping our development

Enterprise Finance

Understanding the cash-flow and investment needs of established micro, small and growing businesses. The aim is to develop financing suited to the activity being funded and the customer’s capacity to meet its obligations.

Productive equipment and energy

Exploring how businesses could acquire equipment that improves output, service quality or operating efficiency, including appropriate power and refrigeration systems.

Trade and working capital

Examining finance linked to identifiable stock, suppliers and trading cycles. Reliable information about sales and collections is central to this approach.

Healthcare and essential services

Understanding the requirements of independent healthcare and other essential-service enterprises, with attention to operating permissions, equipment use and sustainable cash flow.

Enterprise readiness and financial education

Identifying the records, knowledge and practical support that help business owners engage with formal financial institutions. Register your needs to inform future programme design.

Responsible access and partnerships

Exploring delivery arrangements that combine suitable technology, clear provider responsibilities and useful local support.
